Journalist Klevin Muka, invited to the studio of the show "This Week" in News24, has provided a perspective on the ultimate goal of the civic protest, proposing concrete political steps.
Muka brought to attention the messages of Father Zef Pllumi, while emphasizing that the movement has a major goal: the overthrow and change of the entire current system. He highly praised the organizing staff who are taking care behind the scenes to preserve the purity of the cause from the constant attempts at political diversion and division.
According to the journalist, for the civic movement not to fade, it must materialize into strong political demands that directly affect the government.
"The goal is a new system. Whether it will materialize remains to be seen. As a new movement, the immediate demands should be early elections or a transitional government. Without creating a group of intellectuals to change the minds of this people, this country cannot change. As Father Zef Pllumi said... I think it is the right moment to realize his prophecy. This would be the right moment," Muka declared.
Muka also touched on the recent debates about why certain figures are not allowed to give speeches at the protest march, revealing the existence of a coordination group that protects the rally from the parties.
"They want to create diversion and division in terms of who speaks, and why some others are not allowed to speak. There is a group of initiators who have taken care not to get politically involved. They are hardworking boys and girls, not party members, who care with personal contribution, even though they have their own families and jobs," said Muka.
