On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his birth, the book "Qamil Poda, the guerrilla who became commander of the Naval Combat Fleet", published by the M & B Publishing House, written by Dr. Asllan Zemani, was promoted.

This monographic publication is dedicated to Qamil Poda, one of the distinguished sons of the Fatherland, who dedicated his life to the ideals of freedom, independence and progress of the country. The pages include memories, testimonies and documents that illuminate his long and honorable path, from his youth and participation in the Anti-Fascist War, to his dedicated service in the Armed Forces and then in the Organization of Veterans of the National Liberation War.

The book is a sign of gratitude for his invaluable contribution and an invitation to the younger generations to recognize and appreciate the sacrifices of those who liberated the country and built the foundations of the Albanian state and the Armed Forces. It summarizes not only the life of an individual, but the history of a generation that gave Albania its best.
