The murder of Viktor Bardhi alias Marku in the Mirdita area continues to remain without suspects, while one of the main difficulties for investigators is related to the area where the crime occurred.

There are security cameras at the entrance to the village of Nderfushas, but their footage does not show any vehicles moving during the hours when the execution is suspected to have taken place. For this reason, one of the leads being investigated is the possibility that the perpetrators used the underpass of "Rrugës e Kombit" to leave the scene of the crime.

Another possibility being considered is that the perpetrators crossed the road barriers on foot, as they are located just a few meters from the place where the 65-year-old is suspected of being ambushed.

Even after examining security cameras at the entry and exit points of Rrëshen, no trace of the vehicle that could have been used by the perpetrators has been identified, reports journalist Elidon Ndreka.

The suspect's vehicle was found burned in Munaz, about 20 minutes after the 65-year-old's family notified police that they had found him dead. Investigators suspect that the perpetrators may have been helped by other people, who may have waited for them in another vehicle to leave the area and lose track.

Another element that raises questions is the fact that no weapons or other evidence that could directly link the perpetrators were found in the burned vehicle. This has increased suspicions that the vehicle may not be the one used to commit the murder, but may have been deliberately burned to direct the investigation down the wrong track.

Investigators are continuing to verify the movements of other vehicles in the area during the time interval when the murder is suspected to have been committed, with the aim of identifying the perpetrators and persons who may have helped them flee the scene.
