New details have been revealed regarding the murder of 30-year-old Endri Goxhaj on Tuesday evening in Memaliaj, Tepelena.
The police have announced the search for 2 brothers suspected of being the perpetrators of the incident, specifically Donaldo and Marjaldo Nela.
The investigative actions resulted in the perpetrators and victims being divided into two groups and an exchange of fire between the two groups, resulting in the brother of the two perpetrators, Dali Nela, being injured.
Sources indicate that conflicts between groups have been going on for a long time, suspected to be related to narcotics.
The suspect, Donaldo Nela, is a person with a criminal record, involved in drug trafficking, as part of a structured criminal group.
The group he was part of was busted by the Saranda Police in 2018. He is also being investigated as the perpetrator of a robbery of a currency exchange point in Tepelena.
It is learned that the injured Dali Nela, according to sources, is a son-in-law of the Kalemi tribe.
Several people were taken as eyewitnesses and persons who may have knowledge of the conflicts between the groups, but their testimonies did not help investigators document the event.
