A 51-year-old man has been arrested by Shkodra police after raping journalist Ervin Dushi.
According to the journalist's statements, the perpetrator of the violence was 51-year-old citizen Prel Gjoni, along with several other people who were with him.
John is known as the owner of the "Xhedis" supermarket chain.

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Shkodra Police Commissariat arrested citizen P. Gj., 51 years old, resident of Shkodra, for the criminal offense of "Assault due to duty".
This citizen is suspected of having punched citizen ED, 46 years old, a journalist, on 18.05.2026, at around 20:00, in the "Skënderbeg" neighborhood, due to his duty.
The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the Shkodra General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
