New details have emerged regarding the violent conflict recorded in the airing room at the high-security prison in Fier, where two people were injured by blows with improvised means and razor blades.
It is learned that the three people involved in this incident are citizens Denis Bajri, Aldo Gjini and Jurgen Zotaj.
Contrary to what was initially suspected of a settling of scores or a clash between groups, initial investigations indicate that it was a spur-of-the-moment fight. The three prisoners enjoyed good relations with each other and were considered friends within the prison environment.
After receiving medical assistance at the Fier Regional Hospital, the two injured parties left the hospital premises after their health condition stabilized and returned to the prison structures.
Meanwhile, the investigation team and the prison directorate are expected to review security camera footage to fully elucidate the dynamics of the incident, how the cutting tools were obtained, and the role of each of them in the conflict.
