The U-21 National Team continues preparations for the U-21 European Championship, "EURO 2027", as the Albanian Football Federation has reached an agreement with the Ukrainian Football Federation to hold a friendly match.

Albania U-21 will face Ukraine U-21 on October 5, 2026, in Debrecen, Hungary. The match schedule will be determined and announced at a later date.

This challenge is part of the U-21 National Team's preparation program for the 2027 European Championship. Albania will be part of this tournament as one of the organizing countries.

For the red and black team, the match against Ukraine will be another important opportunity to test the group and continue working towards one of the most important events in European youth football.

This will not be the first time the two teams have faced off in a friendly match. In the last meeting between Albania U-21 and Ukraine U-21, held in November last year at the “Elbasan Arena”, the Rossoneri triumphed with a score of 2-0.
