The national protest against the government continues this Saturday, entering its 42nd day. Organizers have announced that today's rally will be joined by Albanians from the diaspora, who have long been involved in supporting this cause.

The main demand of the protesters remains the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama. A day earlier, protesters marched on some of the main axes of Tirana, chanting slogans such as: “Government of crime”, “Rama in prison, Berisha in prison”, “Albania seeks revolution” and “Rama resigns”.

The march also passed through Kavaja Street, while the protesters stopped for a few minutes at the entrance to the area known as Embassy Street.

During the rally, participants accused the government of corruption and demanded political change.

Activist Visar Dalipi, addressing the protesters with a megaphone, called on citizens who claim to have been threatened to contact diplomatic missions. "All those who feel threatened and have been threatened should make a request to the embassy," he declared during the protest.
