Prime Minister Edi Rama has issued his first reaction after Albania qualified for the 2026 World Cup play-offs.
Rama emphasizes that the Albanian national team was equal for 70 minutes with a superpower like England.
"THANK YOU! Regardless of the result, in a match where for more than 70 minutes the Rossoneri were simply equal to a superpower like England, our team deserves great gratitude and respect for the historic achievement of second place in the World Cup qualifying group."
