The U-16 national team played its first friendly match against Bulgaria U-16 this afternoon at the “House of Football.” The little red-and-blacks were defeated 1–4 in this match.
Coach Armand Dama started the match with this starting lineup: Çeliku (GK), Nikolli, Ibrahimi, Caslli, Nezaj, Sina, Hyseni, Como, Rroci, Perlala and Zhara.
Bulgaria took the lead in the 19th minute through Aleksander Sirakov, who scored again in the 49th minute, doubling the score.
Albania U-16 reacted in the 60th minute with Sebastian Sina's goal, but the hosts regained control of the game with Petar Petrov's goal in the 74th minute and sealed the victory in the 87th minute, again with Petrov.
The second friendly match between Albania U-16 and Bulgaria U-16 will be played on June 8, at 10:00, at the "House of Football".
