The Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs in the European Parliament (AFET), David McAllister, at a press conference in Tirana was asked again about the case of Belinda Balluku, suspended from her post as Deputy Prime Minister and for whom SPAK has requested her arrest.

McAllister said he was not in a position to comment on individual cases in legal detail, but stressed that the case involving Balluk is a critical test for Albania in its fight against corruption.

"I am not in a position to comment on individual cases in detail, but I will say that the case involving Deputy Prime Minister Balluku is a critical test for Albania in its fight against corruption," he said.
