An elderly citizen, participating in the protest held in "Skënderbej" Square, has called for more civic engagement and unity against the government.

Speaking about the situation in the country, he stated that intellectuals should be close to citizens and not be limited to television statements.

"Intellectuals should speak from here and not from TV. He, Rama, is destroyed. He will be overthrown. We should not expect from America, we do not produce anything. We are dead for our bread and butter. This one will stay strong and we must all be together," he said.

The citizen appealed to the protesters to maintain unity and continue their resistance, considering the unity of citizens as the way to bring about the change they seek.
