Today Albanian football and all of us who love it have lost a child who still had many dreams to live. With deep sorrow I received the news of the passing of Noel Curës, only 15 years old, after a long and difficult battle with the disease. Noel had the beautiful dream of becoming a great footballer and had started his journey with the FK Apolonia Academy.
He fought bravely and, together with his family, did not lose hope until the end. His untimely departure is a great loss for his family, friends and the entire Albanian football community. My deepest condolences to the Cura family, relatives, friends, coaches and the entire FK Apolonia family.
