The massive protest in Tirana has continued to receive strong support from the diaspora, with many compatriots traveling from abroad to take to the podium in front of the Prime Minister's Office.
Among them, a citizen who came especially from Frankfurt, Germany, conveyed a strong message, denouncing the failure of basic services in Albania and calling on the public administration to react.
She stated that administration employees who support the prime minister do not do so out of desire, but out of fear of losing their jobs, while noting that in 2026 the country still suffers from water, electricity, and medicine in hospitals.
"I am here to give the support of Frankfurt and the entire diaspora. We are with you without fear, not like the administration that applauds the Prime Minister's plight. The honest people of the administration should join us in helping us in this initiative. Citizens, knock on your doors, but the system has failed you for years. Prime Minister, give up, you, your society and your supporters! We are in 2026 and we still have hospitals without medicine, our lights go out and we have water on schedule," she declared in revolt.
At the end of her speech, the protester accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of having links to organized crime instead of strengthening institutions, confirming that rallies are also being organized in Germany at the same time.
"This prime minister prefers to cooperate with gangs rather than support our state. The diaspora is here! As I speak, a protest is being organized in Frankfurt and I am very proud of this," she concluded, amid applause from the crowd on the boulevard.
