DP leader Sali Berisha said that 9 EU member states have blocked negotiations with Albania. During a conversation with followers on social media, Berisha said that the reason for this stance was the government's corrupt affairs and the protection that Prime Minister Edi Rama gave to his former subordinate, Belinda Balluku.
Berisha also spoke about the AKSHI scandal, emphasizing that "the real Linda is Surrel's, while Mirlinda Karçanaj is a fake."
Sali Berisha: April 1st is the day of Albania's membership in NATO, the greatest historical achievement in the field of security after the declaration of the country's independence. But on this day we also received bitter news, which the government hid. On this day in Brussels, in the debate that was to be held on IBAR with Albania, there were no longer three or four countries that opposed the approval of the assessment of standards and the rule of law in Albania, but they became 9 countries that opposed the voting on this report with many arguments and many issues. Edi Rama and his propaganda hid it here, on the contrary, he brings out his spokesmen to deceive the Albanians.
But I tell you again that without the unanimous vote of this report, Albania does not close any chapter, which means that the integration process is currently a dead end. Sali berisha: I know about this because on April 1, when the report on the assessment of the standards of the rule of law in Albania and the fight against corruption was expected to be discussed, the number of countries that expressed their opposition to its vote more than doubled, from 4 to 9. And we had warned you about this. It cannot be ignored, I guarantee that next time there will be 13. Why will there be 13? As soon as they find out the truth about Balluku. The truth of the Balluku and AKSHI files have become irrefutable documents of corruption in Albania and of the blockage of the fight against corruption by Edi Rama. But other major problems besides these are countless and what is happening, if you ask me, is that just as the oil spill is opening, correct opinions about the Tirana government are becoming clearer and are spreading.
Edi Rama these days, deceiving Albanians and not telling them the truth, says in meetings with socialists that they are the wicked who are trying to hinder this process.
Once again, I want to say to the Albanians: our position is very transparent, we are in favor of the integration process, but we declare that Albania absolutely does not meet any criteria except the geostrategic criterion.
As you can see, time is proving what we have said. We have said this on time, we have presented to the international community irrefutable documents and facts that Albania does not meet any criteria. They are sanctioned in 7 international resolutions of the center-right and right-wing parties.
Now these are all being realized one by one. With Edi Rama, I assure you, as the European Commission itself said, integration is not a leader issue. So with Edi Rama, there is no integration.
Edi Rama is a fierce enemy of integration and a defender of his own interests. We defend the interests of Albanians by denouncing Edi Rama's corruption, the corruption of his family members, the protection he gives to corruption and the blockage of the justice system and the rule of law.
But now this is being realized throughout Europe.
