The images you see come from the second section of the Qafë Plloçë–Qukës road, near the Trebinje village turnoff. The situation in question has caused problems for vehicle traffic.
According to information, the roadway has suffered damage in both the central and lateral parts, which has necessitated the restriction of movement in this segment. For safety reasons, vehicle traffic continues in only one lane, while the rest of the road remains blocked. Meanwhile, 260 million euros were spent on this work, while the images speak quite the opposite.
Sources on the ground indicate that the contractor is continuously monitoring the situation, while the Albanian Road Authority has been notified and is expected to intervene to assess and repair the damage. Authorities are calling on drivers to exercise increased caution when passing through this road segment.
