Lawyer Isuf Shehu in an interview on the show "Oponencje" on News24 spoke about the suspension of former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, commenting on the lawsuit against Prime Minister Edi Rama. Shehu said that Prime Minister Rama feels afraid.
What he raised as an issue that, according to him, could concern the prime minister is the fact of what could happen if a prosecutor or court "resets" his cabinet.
"He has an extraordinary fear that is known in political history. Rama has a fear. What if tomorrow, a prosecutor or a court completely nullifies my cabinet? But when someone makes a decision and says that the minister of finance, justice, transport, is suspended from duty, is banned from leaving the country, what can happen? And here he says, can this happen? And here he says let him go to court for clarification. The Minister of Defense and the Interior are people who are dependent on people with guns in their belts or guns on their shoulders. I think the Constitutional Court will rule in Rama's favor. And I am afraid of suspension.
