Democratic Party MP, Jorida Tabaku, during the meeting of the Territorial Reform Commission, emphasized that the obligation of this commission at this stage is to approve the draft work calendar and not the immediate passage of the current document.

According to her, amendments should be passed with special decisions and the process should not be rushed. "Let's not rush to pass the document as it is today, but let's pass the draft calendar," said Tabaku.

She also raised concerns about the role of the committee secretary, noting that his functions are clearly defined by Parliament and include coordinating work with the technical secretariats and between the two co-chairs.

The MP proposed that within the framework of the calendar, the basic laws that will require changes be clearly identified. Regarding the public survey, she announced that a change has been requested, while regarding the deadlines, she emphasized that populism should not be practiced. "Whether it is within February or March, we are here. We need to leave the right space for a serious and complete process," Tabaku declared.

Snuff: The obligation of this committee today is to approve the working calendar. Amendments will be passed with special decisions. Let us not rush to pass the document as it is today, but let us pass the working calendar. I had some concerns about the work of the secretary. The Parliament has defined the functions of the secretary. He coordinates the work with the technical secretariats, and between the two co-chairs. The proposals I had for the calendar; we need to identify the basic laws that will change and in the case of the public survey, we have requested a change. Let's not be populist about the date. Is it done within February or March, we are here. We need to leave the right space.
