With the Serie A transfer window now closed, it's time to take stock. Which team has improved the most? Will their rivals be able to dethrone reigning champions Inter, or will the blue-and-blacks once again dominate?

Let's start from scratch with the team led by Chivu Inter - Merkato close to perfection
Inter carried out an almost perfect transfer market, with important reinforcements in the wings, midfield and defense. Spence and Curtis Jones are two of the most prominent approaches, while the defensive department has been reformatted without touching the base of the team. The only hitch remains the failure to approach Palestra, with the winger choosing to continue his career at Chelsea.

Juventus - A transfer market not entirely according to Spalletti's requirements
The coach had been looking for a central striker, a playmaker and a left-back, but the club failed to meet these requirements exactly. Woltemade and Sarr bring quality and potential, while Lucumi, Douglas Luiz and Nico Gonzalez have given positive signals. However, the transfer market remains somewhat far from the profile required by the coach.

Milan - Another convincing team
Gonçalo Ramos and Mario Gila are two of the arrivals that have stood out, while Cisse's promotion to the first team is another positive. With Moreira and Hutchinson waiting for their spots, the team has gained alternatives and competition in several positions.

Como – The market of a big club
Como made an extraordinary transfer, fulfilling practically all of Fabregas's demands. Kean's arrival was the final blow to a strong campaign. The victory and performance in Napoli showed that the team is ready to compete at the highest level, even in the Champions League.

Napoli – Transfer market without many changes
The gap between Antonio Conte's demands and Max Allegri's approach was clear in this transfer window. Allegri would have preferred more reinforcements, including Rabiot and a centre-back, but in the end the team only received a few interventions and remained largely the same, with the team that ended last season under Conte.

Roma - Gasperini wins the transfer market battle
Gasperini exerted constant pressure on the board and eventually got the reinforcements he wanted, with Rodrigo Mora and Molina at the top of the list. French midfielder Koné was also kept in the squad after Chelsea showed interest. The result is a deeper and more competitive Roma, with quality options in every department and who can now be considered a formidable opponent for everyone.
