The serious incident that occurred yesterday in Roskovec, where Refit Buzi killed his ex-partner's parents and then himself, has shocked public opinion.
In an interview for the show "News24 "Weekend" with moderator Megi Latifi, security expert Fatjon Softa analyzed the main details of this incident, describing it as one of the most serious incidents of domestic violence and personal relationships.
According to Softa, the event carries three critical components that required the immediate intervention of the RENEA special forces: Murder, hostage-taking, and finally suicide.
"The person posed a high risk not only to the person holding him hostage, but also to others around him. This necessitated the engagement of special forces," Softa explained.
The security expert stressed that the fact that the perpetrator had come from England suggests that the crime did not arise from a spur-of-the-moment decision, but may have been planned in advance.
Softa also raised questions about the origin of the weapon used (whether it was licensed or not) and listed two main clues to the motive: Finances, as a sum of money was required to be returned, and the author's refusal to break up with his ex-partner.
Despite the tragic end for the author, Fatjon Softa praised the police's actions as highly professional and in line with international standards.
