Former KLA commander, Hysni Gucati, stated that the Special Court has lost the trust of Albanians.
Gucati stressed that the Hague trials against KLA fighters are biased and unfair.
"Today we are protesting to raise our voices for justice. We are here to defend the holy war of liberation of Kosovo. The KLA does not need to prove that it was a liberation army. Only history, the people, the martyrs' graves, and the entire vote have proven this."
Today, through this unjust court, they are trying to judge crimes. Today, through this unjust court, they are trying to equate the victim with the executioner.
They want to tarnish our holy fight for freedom. But we will not accept it, we will not allow it to be desecrated. We will not remain silent about the history of our people. This has nothing to do with politics. We are seeking justice before the law and before history. Tirana is the capital of all Albanians.
We are telling the world that Kosovo fought for freedom and liberation. We were not criminals. We clearly declare that the Special Court lost faith in Albanians. The trials that are taking place in The Hague are one-sided and unfair. Dear Albanians, this is the call of the national conscience,” said Gucati.
