A serious incident has occurred on the beach of Velipoja, where a 70-year-old vacationer has lost his life. The victim has been identified as citizen Seladin Bytyqi, an Albanian from Kosovo, who is suspected of having suffered a heart attack immediately after contact with seawater.
After the immediate deterioration of his health condition, vacationers present in the area and the Velipoja emergency medical service reacted without delay by providing first aid.
Despite the rapid efforts of doctors and bystanders to keep him alive, the 70-year-old man was unable to survive.
The investigation team has initiated procedures to fully clarify the circumstances and medically confirm the cause of the elderly man's death.

At around 15:15, in the "Small Beach" area, Velipojë, Kosovo citizen SB, 68 years old, is suspected of having suffered a cardiac arrest while bathing in the sea and, as a result, drowned.
The investigation team continues to work to clarify and fully document the circumstances of the incident.
