The identities of the people involved in the incident that occurred a short while ago at a polyclinic in Shkodra have been revealed.
The injured man has been identified as Vildan Kepëca, 32 years old, while the suspected perpetrator of the attack is Arvin Fregjaj, 18 years old. The injured man's brother, Arben Kepëca, 41 years old, was also involved in the incident.
According to the Police, at around 11:30, inside the polyclinic, in the "Vasil Shanto" neighborhood, it is suspected that during a conflict for weak motives, Arvin Fregjaj stabbed Vildan Kepëca. The latter was immediately transported to the hospital, where he is under the care of doctors.
Immediately after receiving the notification, the Police services headed to the scene. Along the way, the blue uniforms received information that the brother of the injured man,
Arben Kepëca, after learning about the incident, took a pistol, with a cartridge in the chamber, and set off on foot with the intention of killing the suspected perpetrator of the injury.
The police intervened in time, enabling the capture and arrest of Arben Kepëca in flagrante delicto. According to authorities, during the intervention he attempted to flee and threw away the firearm he was carrying.
Meanwhile, the Police continue their search for the location and capture of the suspected perpetrator of the injury, Arvin Fregjaj.
The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is continuing its actions to fully clarify and document the circumstances of the incident.
