A repeated case, this is how public health expert Qamil Dika assessed the case that occurred in Korça, where 72-year-old doctor Nikolla Nunka was accused by a 21-year-old woman of sexually harassing her.

Invited to "News24 "Weekend" with Megi Latif, he stated that such behavior is unacceptable, while adding that in the state system, the patient is often seen as property that can be depersonalized.

"A repeated case where doctors in the state system commit sexual harassment against patients. The system cannot retain such professionals who have these approaches with patients. This is unacceptable. Often the patient in the state system is considered private property that can be depersonalized and exploited, taking their money. Perhaps it is time to highlight that for doctors of this age, he was 72 years old and still practicing his profession in the regional hospital. This should be highlighted.
"Is there a hospital regulation that specifies the procedure that must be followed and when we have a female patient, she must be accompanied by a nurse. This is part of professional ethics but I don't know if it is part of the hospital regulations and protocols," he said.
