Her colleagues, including those who were laid off, told journalist Eneida Petova that they had gone to the Kuçova municipality a few days ago to request their salary, but were then laid off.
"They didn't give us our salaries and fired us. The three of us who were in the municipality, they fired us. They cut us short; we fired you because we went to the municipality. We haven't cursed anyone in the municipality. 4 months ago they fired 4 others. We haven't cursed or thrown stones at the municipality, we just asked for our salaries. We said; what is happening with our salaries," said the cleaning worker.
