Representatives of families affected by the TID project returned to Durrës municipality this morning. The change in the project for the restoration of religious buildings (Catholic churches), which were previously classified for demolition, has forced residents to demand information and transparency regarding its continuation.

With a request signed by 20 families, they addressed the local authority, demanding transparency and underlining that they will continue to oppose the demolition of their homes.
A project that overlaps history, to be replaced with towers, declare the residents. The residents' representation has addressed the Municipality of Durres to request a meeting with the mayor, but this time too they have found the doors closed.

It is easier to meet representatives of international institutions than the mayor, declare the residents, who emphasize that they will oppose the demolition of the apartments. Meanwhile, at the last meeting of the municipal council, the deputy mayor of Durrës, Gentian Kallmi, stated that the TID is in process and each case will be verified, both in terms of value and the procedure followed.
