Sali Berisha declared that the DP will hold internal party elections to elect new leadership structures.

Berisha said that the party chairman will be elected, as well as leaders at all other levels.

He also referred to the primaries, where although he acknowledged the criticisms, he said that they will not be removed, but will be improved.

Sali Berisha : My message is, I thank you sincerely for following me in this conversation. I believe that I answered your questions, except for one that now comes to mind, which asked whether elections will be held. I guarantee that elections will be held at all levels in the DP, and I guarantee that with all the criticisms that are made about the primaries, I ask for your understanding that eliminating the primaries means eliminating the consideration of the will of the members.
