A young woman from the diaspora, raised in Germany and a political scientist by profession, has joined the massive protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office building, where she shared with those present her family's story and a powerful message for the future of the country.
The young woman revealed that her family's departure from Albania came as a direct result of the corrupt system, while today she continues the same battle for dignity:
"I live in Germany. My father left Albania many years ago due to corruption. He wanted his children to grow up in a culture where human rights were present, for which we still fight today."
She further emphasized that her professional training pushes her even more to contribute to her country of origin: "I share this battle too, and today I am a political scientist. There is no more honorable issue than that for your nation!"
