Journalist Elidon Ndreka reports that sources from the investigation team at the scene of the incident indicate that the 30-year-old was not the target of this assassination attempt. On the contrary, it is believed that he was one of four other people who were inside his business at the time of the incident.

It is suspected that there were three people who arrived in the village of Rrilë in Lezha in an "Audi" type vehicle, and after getting out of the car, they shot in the direction of the barbershop, leaving Sokol Daci wounded, who received three bullets: one in the shoulder, one in the stomach and one in the leg.

There are suspected to have been four other people inside the business who, according to the investigation team, responded with firearms.
