One of the protesters from the Police Directorate in Tirana said that the government is stealing from us and depopulating us as a country.

He said that Albania could become like Switzerland in three months, but that it is poorly governed.

The protester stressed that the country is being taken over by politicians.

Citizen: There are world wonders in Albania. Veliaj runs the Municipality of Tirana from prison and I don't believe this happens in Africa. Albania is a wonderful country, which in three months becomes better than Switzerland, but the government works against the interest of the people.

They are robbing us and depopulating us every day. We must take control of our country, otherwise we will be finished.
