The police operation codenamed "Administrator" has finalized a case of cultivation of narcotic plants in closed environments, in the city of Saranda.
During the action, police forces seized 157 suspected narcotic plants of the Cannabis Sativa species, 18 kg of the narcotic substance cannabis, as well as numerous electrical devices used for the cultivation, drying and processing of narcotic plants, for the purpose of sale.
The police have arrested the administrator of the building where the premises were set up for this criminal activity, citizen EB, 45 years old, resident of Saranda, who was accused of "Production and sale of narcotics", "Cultivation of narcotic plants" and "Theft of electricity". As part of the investigation, four other citizens suspected of being involved in this criminal activity have been declared wanted, while the wife of the arrested person, MB, 45 years old, was also criminally prosecuted.
The inspection carried out in two apartments on the ninth floor of a 9-story building in neighborhood no. 2 of Saranda has led to the discovery of illegal electricity connections, used to support the cannabis cultivation activity. Other equipment such as electric lamps, air conditioners, fans and air filters, which are used for the storage and processing of narcotic plants, are also part of the seizures.
