The high price of agricultural inputs and fuel, as well as the decline in the labor force, continue to cause numerous difficulties for farmers in the Dibër region. Although the Gjorica field is the most productive in this region, farmers raise concerns that a large area has remained barren, as a large part of the inhabitants have left, while those who have remained do not have the proper conditions to plant in large quantities.

Faced with ongoing hardship and economic insufficiency, farmer Liman Lleshi sees hope for change from national protests.

Among other things, farmers say that due to the reduction in planted areas, they have not been able to benefit from the National Agriculture Scheme for 2026.
