A protester from Mallakastra, a journalist by profession, addressed the citizens from the protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, speaking about the difficult fire situation in the area where he comes from.
"I come from an area that is burning, like Kruja, which is Mallakastra. The situation is chaotic all the way to the border with Tepelena," he said. The protester called on politicians to be close to the citizens and not divide Albanians through politics.
"I appeal to politicians: if you love Albania, stand by the citizens. From the left and the right, the end will come to these parties, not the Albanians," he declared.
Referring to the emigration of Albanians, he rejected the idea that the country would replace citizens who leave with foreigners. "Rama said that if Albanians leave, they will take foreigners, but no! We Albanians are not leaving. Don't be divided," the protester said.
In conclusion, he described the rally as an important and peaceful protest: "This is the most beautiful protest in the world!"
