Tirana Police structures finalized the operation codenamed "Relay 6", arresting two citizens suspected of transporting illegal immigrants towards European Union countries.

According to the official announcement, as part of the actions to crack down on migrant smuggling, specialists from the Illicit Trafficking Section at the Tirana Police Department arrested AM, 24 years old, and IV, 22 years old, residents of Kukës, at the place called "Mbikalimi i Kasharit". They are suspected of transporting 5 migrants by vehicle, from whom they had demanded 2700 euros each, with the promise of sending them to France.

1 vehicle and 2 mobile phones were seized as material evidence.
