SP MP, Taulant Balla, has "congratulated" his DP colleagues on the party's 35th anniversary, recalling the result of May 11, which according to him is the weakest in the entire history of this first political force after the fall of the communist system.
As Balla listed the DP's consecutive defeats in the elections, he "wished" that the DP would age as much as its leader.
"Happy DP holiday, the important 35th anniversary of one of the most important forces in the Albanian transition and I am very sorry that this 35th anniversary finds you in the weakest historical result of the DP, the weakest than in 1997, the weakest than in all the battles that Luli led you, and with what was left of the LSI. The good thing is that after all these losses you see the problem in yourself.
"Well, in Albania the state and the government have had an impact, but what did they find in the diaspora? 1 in 3 Albanians in the diaspora trusted and voted for Rama," said Balla.
