One of the citizens protesting in front of the Tirana Police Department has made strong accusations against the political class, describing the situation in the country as a "dictatorship".

"This is the second dictatorship. Albania is in a dictatorship, with what I saw today, how honest citizens were arrested," the protester said. He called on citizens to join the protest, stating that he is not part of any political party.

"People, join us! Whoever is against this corrupt political class, join us. I am not a criminal," he said. The protester also criticized the costs of security for officials and the standard of living of politicians, comparing them to the difficulties that, according to him, Albanian citizens face.

"These people have 50 bodyguards. Who are they afraid of? Me? Why do they pay these bodyguards with Albanian taxes?" he said. He further accused politicians of living in luxury, while Albanian citizens face difficulties and are forced to leave the country.

"They live like sheikhs, they go to 5-star hotels. Albanians go to Europe, they sleep in bushes and in train stations. These people go to 5-star hotels," said the protester. In the end, he emphasized that the protest is not about supporting a political party, but about opposing the political class as a whole. "Here is a layer that thinks differently. It doesn't come for the party," he concluded.
