The Kukës club has officially requested from the Albanian Football Association to recognize their victory on the scoreboard for the match lost on penalties against Bylis B, in the play-out for staying in the First Category.
The northeastern club has made a public statement, announcing that it has requested the Albanian Football Association (AFH) to postpone Saturday's match due to irregularities in the composition of the Albanian team for that match.
OFFICIAL REACTION
After the "Play Out" match against Bylis B, FK Kukësi has officially addressed the Albanian Football Federation and the Disciplinary Committee to review the violation of the Football Activity Regulations.
Based on the federation lists, the official match protocol and the COMET system, it results that Bylis B has activated 9 players registered with the A team: Ahmed Ibrahim Adepoju, Ibrahim Ademola Akibu, Renato Beqaj, Dime Dimov, Guilherme Ferreira Buranelli, Ergi Hodo, Robert Muric, Paulo Pjeshka and Gjorgji Stoilov.
According to article 52.16, only 5 players from team A are allowed to be activated, where 3 of them must have less than 10 matches with the first team during the season. These conditions were not respected, constituting a violation of the regulation.
FK Kukësi has respected all points of the regulation, including the appeal deadline within 24 hours, according to official procedures, by attaching documents verifying the violation, video footage and the official protocol.
This is not the first time that cases similar to Bylis B have occurred, where decisions have been made to forfeit at the table for violating the regulations.
For this reason, our club officially requests victory at the table, in accordance with existing regulations and precedents.
FK Kukësi has full confidence that the competent bodies of the Albanian Football Association and the Disciplinary Committee will make a fair decision, based on facts and in protecting the integrity of the competition.
