After PSG's dramatic triumph in the Champions League final against Arsenal, the protagonists of the post-match conferences were the two coaches, Luis Enrique and Mikel Arteta, with completely opposite emotions.

Celebrations were in full swing in the Parisian camp. Luis Enrique, who lifted the third Champions League trophy of his coaching career, described the success as a special achievement for the team and the club.

"This Champions League is even more special because before the match we knew how difficult it would be. I believe we deserved it throughout the season, even though the final was very hard fought. At half-time I explained to the players how we had to attack against a team that defends very well. Penalties? We are used to them… "Thank you to the fans, the players, the staff, France and Paris."

On the other side, the atmosphere was completely different. Arsenal ended the European season unbeaten in regular time, but failed to lift the trophy. Mikel Arteta did not hide his disappointment after the penalty shootout defeat in Budapest.

"I feel pain. When you are one step away from winning the biggest European trophy and you lose on penalties, that's the only thing you can feel. Now we have to get over this pain and turn it into fuel to reach another level.. The penalty not awarded to Madueke? I didn't understand the reason why that contact wasn't considered a foul. However, I want to congratulate PSG. It's the best team in the world. We didn't want to play like this, but they force you to do it."
