Prime Minister Edi Rama has once again attacked citizens who have been protesting for days for the removal of the government and his resignation, describing as "stupid" the accusations and opposition to the investment in Zvërnec, which served as a starting point to incite the revolt and the explosion of accumulated dissatisfaction.

In a post on social media, Rama published footage from a tourist project in Qatar, emphasizing that it was developed by the Alkhayatt brothers, co-owners of the Power International Holding conglomerate, the company that is also involved in the Zvërnec project.

According to the head of government, it is unimaginable that a company with global dimensions and international reputation would risk its name with projects that are being opposed in Albania.

"But the stupidity that has left this country behind the world for 100 years will not be able to hold European and tourist Albania hostage," Rama writes.
