Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted again after the massive protests and yesterday's demonstration on the Boulevard, where the presence of citizens yesterday was greater than ever before, while he has chosen irony to respond to participants who oppose the project in the Zvërnec area.

In a post on social media, Rama addressed the protesters with a "humble plea", inviting them to not enter the coastal area with vehicles the next time they go to protect the flamingos.

Rama adds that the flamingos had left the area before the 10-year hunting moratorium was imposed and further mocks the protesters, inviting them to leave their vehicles by the road and walk to the seashore. He did not fail to mention the garbage left behind, claiming that beer cans had been abandoned in the area where the protest took place.

At the end of his message, the Prime Minister wished citizens a peaceful Sunday, while his reaction comes at the height of the public debate over the project that has sparked protests and opposition from residents, activists, and environmental organizations.
