The police have taken increased security measures for the football derby between Partizani and KF Tirana, which will be played today at 16:30 at the National Arena.

According to the Tirana Police, the measures aim to guarantee order and security before, during and after the match. For this reason, from 14:00 until the end of the event, several road segments will be blocked, including "Mother Teresa" Square, "Lekë Dukagjini" and "Dervish Hima" streets, as well as the areas surrounding the stadium.

Authorities have also set fan movement routes to avoid clashes and gatherings outside designated areas. Police will accompany fans along these routes and will not allow deviations from the approved route.

Strict checks will be carried out at the entrance to the stadium for prohibited items, such as sharp objects, water bottles, umbrellas, metal keys or pyrotechnics. Every fan must be provided with an identification document, while children under 16 years of age will not be allowed without a parent or legal guardian.

Also, persons previously identified as problematic will not be allowed to enter sports activities.

The police call on fans and citizens to respect the measures and avoid driving in blocked areas during the designated times.
