The situation from the fires in Lura continues to be monitored, while the fire centers are moving towards isolation. Around 150 forces are engaged in the field, working to extinguish and completely isolate the centers.
The operation involved firefighters, employees of the Dibër Municipality, Civil Emergencies, employees of the Protected Areas, as well as army and State Police forces.
The Mayor of Dibër, Rahim Spahiu, stated that the situation in Lura is moving towards isolation from the fires, while field work will continue with all forces until the fire is completely extinguished and isolated.
"We will work with all our might until the fire is completely contained. Our goal is to isolate all the fires and ensure that the fire does not spread further," said Dibra Mayor Rrahim Spahiu.
