The Constitutional Court is expected to make a decision today regarding Prime Minister Edi Rama's request to suspend Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku.

Journalist Klodiana Lala has explained the procedure followed in these cases, after the Constitutional Court judges have gathered in the Deliberation Chamber, which, according to her, necessarily ends in a decision.

"The law provides that from the conclusion of the public session that took place on January 22, the CC has 30 days to issue a decision. In the previous 2 sessions, the CC members have assessed that since we are dealing with a matter of high public interest, it is necessary to give the members more time. This led to today's session. The law provides that from the moment that the members of the judges gather in the Consultation Chamber, the meeting will be held without interruption and must definitely issue a decision. This can even happen at night," reports journalist Klodiana Lala.
