The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called on its citizens in Kosovo to show increased vigilance this Wednesday, September 16, due to large political gatherings planned across the country.
Through an official announcement, French diplomacy has recommended its citizens to avoid any non-essential movement from 10:00 AM until the end of the day, as well as to stay completely away from areas where protests will take place.
The Paris warning follows the alert issued a day earlier by the United States Embassy in Pristina, which advised American citizens of the possibility of blockages at major road junctions.
According to diplomatic missions, the organizational movements of several entities are expected to bring about massive citizen gatherings and serious obstacles to road traffic in the center of Pristina and other major cities in the country, prompting the vigilance of international allies.
