Tragically, at the age of 22, Fatjon Bunjaku, a footballer for AF Elbasan, has passed away as a result of a road accident on the Prishtina-Mitrovicë highway, shortly after midnight. This tragic news has been confirmed by the media in Kosovo, which have also made public the details of this fatal accident.

Bunjaku was considered one of the promising talents of Kosovar football, having previously been part of the U-21 representative team.

After an adventure with the Malisheva team, in July 2025, Fatjon Bunjaku joined AF Elbasani, where he was one of the main points of this team that this season fought for the championship title until the last week. Bunjaku's premature departure shook Albanian football.
