A tragedy occurred in Ashwellthorpe, Norfolk, UK, where a 14-year-old private school student was found hanging in her family home.
According to information from the Daily Mail, Adriana Retyte was found unconscious shortly before 10pm on May 8. She was given cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) at the scene and then transported to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, where she died two days later.

It is still unclear what led Adriana to this action. The hearing officially began yesterday (19/5) and was postponed to a later date.
The minor's 31-year-old mother, Greta Saggers, published a post on her personal Facebook account yesterday (19/5), announcing the loss of her daughter: "With broken hearts we share the loss of our beautiful Adriana. Thank you to everyone for the love, kindness and support you have shown our family during this incredibly difficult time."

The teenager attended Langley School in London, which paid tribute to the 14-year-old in its own way:
“Everyone at Langley School is deeply devastated by the loss of Adriana Retite, a Year 9 student at Langley High School. Our deepest thoughts and condolences are with her family, friends and all those affected by this tragic loss. This is a devastating loss for our entire school community. Adriana was a valued and loved member of the school community, known for her warmth, kindness and positive spirit. She pursued her studies with diligence and pride, and was respected by both staff and students for her caring and considerate nature. She also made a significant contribution to overall school life, enthusiastically taking advantage of opportunities in sport, performing arts and academic activities. Adriana will be fondly remembered by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. We have ensured that all members of our community who have been affected by this sad news are provided with appropriate support psychological and we will continue to support each other in the days and weeks ahead. As a close-knit school community, we respectfully ask that the family's privacy be protected as they try to..." come to terms with their loss."
An online fundraising campaign has been set up in her memory to support the charity Papyrus, which works to prevent suicide in young people. Among the posts is one from Sofia Katrechko, who noted:
"It is truly heartbreaking to see someone so young, with so much life ahead of them, die so soon. I will always remember fondly the time I spent with Adriana and the happy memories we shared. She brought so much joy, laughter and light to those around her and those moments will stay with me forever."
