Three people have died after being hit by an avalanche in the French Alps.
Two of them were British and the other a French national. The two Britons, according to The Guardian, were part of a group of people skiing off-piste in Val d'Isere in southeastern France.
While the French citizen was traveling individually and skiing, unfortunately the trip proved fatal. Authorities in France, the meteorological service have warned of bad weather and have called for the risk of avalanches in the area.
Meanwhile, recently in the Italian Alps, 11 people have lost their lives within 7 days.
