A tragic accident occurred in the late evening hours of Friday on the Prrenjas-Librazhd road axis, in the village of Hotolisht, Hotolisht Administrative Unit, in the municipality of Librazhd, where a 42-year-old man lost his life after the vehicle he was traveling in was hit by a stone detached from the hillside.
According to preliminary data, the incident occurred at around 22:30 and it is suspected that a large stone broke off the hillside onto the road and fell on the "Benz" vehicle, which was driven by citizen Arjan Hoxha, 42 years old, resident of the village of Gjergjan, Elbasan. As a result of the strong impact, the 42-year-old lost his life at the scene.
Immediately after the incident, the Police services and the investigation team arrived at the scene, working to fully clarify the circumstances and legally document the case.
The exact causes of the stone's detachment remain under investigation, while authorities are expected to provide further details in the future.
