Tirana Police has issued an official statement regarding the serious accident that occurred near the Sauk roundabout. One person lost his life and two others were injured. One of them is in serious condition in hospital.
According to the police report, a truck (concrete pump) collided with a vehicle. As a result of the collision, the truck (concrete pump) broke through the metal protective barriers of the roundabout and fell to the lower level of the TEG-Elbasan road axis, in the direction of Elbasan.
As a result, one of the people traveling in the truck (concrete pump) died at the scene, while the other person was transported to the hospital in serious condition.
It is learned that the people in the concrete mixer are suspected to be Egyptian citizens.
Meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle, citizen RN, about 28 years old, has been taken to hospital and is out of danger.
