A group of teenage girls' trip to a waterfall in Andhra Pradesh, India turned into a tragedy.
The four girls were found at Mulagoomi Falls and according to police, they were standing on the rocks, trying to take a selfie. But unfortunately they lost control, slipped and fell into the water.
According to authorities, neither of them knew how to swim, making the situation worse after they were swept away by the current.
Locals rushed to the scene after hearing cries for help and managed to save one of the girls, who was taken to the hospital.
However, the other three – identified as Trisha, 17, Ratnakumari, 16, and Pavitra, 16, were swept away by the waters and could not be rescued.
Police teams found the bodies during a search of the scene.
